Self-Confidence and Assertiveness
Self-confidence and assertiveness affects almost every aspect of our lives and these attributes are considered to be indispensable skills that are required for a sense of balance and fulfillment. The lack of self-confidence and assertiveness can seriously reduce the quality of a person’s life and if unchecked they can lead to complex mental health difficulties. Hence, our workshop has been designed to help us become aware of why we may lack confidence and also start to develop practical assertiveness skills.
Duration: 1 ½ - 2 hours
We Will:
- Challenge unhelpful beliefs
- Explore communication styles that develop effective assertiveness skills
- Practice being assertive
- Look at the link between assertiveness and equality
